Different backgrounds. A similar outcome: a better life.
“This program has really helped me quit drinking with no desire to relapse. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to quit drinking and better your life, health and happiness.”
“The meds you sent me are helping to squash the cravings. Even in Vegas for a week and stayed sober! I do think about alcohol sometimes... but remember how my 90 days of sobriety has played out. I’m PRESENT!! If I can do it anyone can.”
“AA meetings never worked for me. Choose Your Horizon offered a wide variety of options. Liver test, coaching one on one, and what most amazed me is the naltrexone pill, which is a life changing drug! Finally I have a sober head and clear thinking. ONLY 2 months changed my relationship with alcohol.”
“At first I was skeptical with starting something new. I didn’t think anything would take the alcohol cravings away. I’ve now walked through the grocery store without needing to stop and get a bottle of wine. I’m 2 months in and alcohol no longer controls every day of my life.”
“I was exhausted from feeling like I had to keep starting over. This felt different. It was private, straightforward, and actually fit into my life.”
“I’m genuinely glad I decided to try Choose Your Horizon. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free — from signing up, to the quick virtual appointment with the doctor, to receiving my prescription right at my door. Everything was straightforward, fast, and professional.”

Straight answers about quitting.
How do I know if I have alcohol use disorder (AUD)?
Only a licensed clinician can diagnose alcohol use disorder. Common signs include drinking more or for longer than you intended, wanting to cut back but finding it hard, strong cravings, and drinking getting in the way of your health, relationships or responsibilities.
You don’t need a diagnosis to start. The assessment asks about your drinking, health and goals, and a physician takes it from there.
Do I have to detox before starting treatment?
Not necessarily. It depends on how much and how often you drink. Stopping suddenly after heavy daily drinking can be dangerous, so your physician will ask about your drinking pattern and history and tell you whether a medically supervised detox is needed before starting medication.
If you have symptoms such as shaking, sweating or confusion when you stop drinking, seek medical care right away.
What treatments are available to help me quit drinking?
Choose Your Horizon offers physician-led treatment including naltrexone, an FDA-approved medication that can reduce cravings and alcohol’s rewarding effects, and, for appropriate patients, GLP-1 support. One-on-one coaching and at-home health monitoring can be added to your plan.
Your physician recommends what fits your health history and goals.
Will I actually speak with a physician?
Yes. Prescription treatment is medically evaluated by licensed physicians, and physician-led care is a core part of Choose Your Horizon.
How long does it take to see results?
Everyone is different. Some people notice changes in cravings within the first weeks of medication, while others need more time or adjustments to their plan.
Your care team tracks your progress with you and can change your treatment as you go.

You’ve tried before. Now try a different way.
